Do not get sunscreen on your extension hair. This will compromise the color of your extension hair, and will cause the hair to turn a peach color.

Just as sunlight can lighten your natural hair, exposure to sunlight can alter color of your extensions. Use a leave-in with UV protectant to

protect your hair from the effects of sun exposure.

If you go to the pool or beach, completely saturate your hair with a shower or tap water and apply a conditioner. Not only will this help protect your hair from absorbing he water, but it also helps prevent tangling and matting that can occur when exposed to chlorinated water or salt water.

After swimming, wash your hair thoroughly with a color safe clarifying shampoo, then condition. Take time to comb out completely to ensure to

tangling s or matting occur.

Never wear a swim cap as they are too tight and

will cause severe tension on your extensions.

Before getting into the shower, gently brush

out extensions and hair. This will help prevent tangles and matting

Use a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner. This will help protect and prolong your hair color and the color and quality of your extensions.

Shampoo gently in between the rows. No need to vigorously scrub. If you have more than one row, it will help to clip and separate each row during shampooing. This will help ensure the water can thoroughly rinse each row and avoid shampoo build up.

For days when needing a little extra volume or to remove extra oil without having to wash your entire head, separate your natural hair that lays on top of your extensions from your rows and the rest of your hair.

With your extensions and the rest of your hair secured back and away from your face, lean over the sink, or lean forward in the shower and shampoo and condition the natural hair. Style as desired.

Using only salon quality color with a professional experienced with extensions. After a few washes, the extension hair will expand, and take on a more realistic hair texture.

Some shedding will take place as it is hand- tied hair. If you notice excessive shedding or tangling please contact your stylist.

To keep the cuticle in tact and minimize tangling we recommend you sleep with your hair in a braid. Do not sleep with your hair pulled back tight.

Do not leave your hair damp or wet over night, this will cause the hair to matt and tangle.

Move up appointments are recommended every 6-8 weeks depending on how quickly your hair grows.

The first step is completing the application. The link for this is in my bio. This gives me all the information I need about your hair and hair history, it will also allow me see pictures of your hair currently and inspiration or goal pictures of where you want to be.

It takes only I few minutes to complete.

Use a leave-in conditioner spray after showering Nand before brushing out your hair and extensions. When brushing, start at the bottom working your way up to the scalp. Hold the hair in your hand or hold at the top of the extensions at the scalp when brushing. This will help release tension and avoid pulling on your natural hair.

Use a good heat protectant before using ANY heat to help protect and prolong your extensions. Rough-dry hair 80% of the way (just using hands/ fingers no tugging with combs or round brush.)

If you have multiple rows, the quickest way to dry your hair is to separate each row and rough-dry them separately.

(This applies to dry bars as well. It is important to let whoever styles your hair know to NOT round brush your hair from start to finish of your blow-

dry.)

Use a wet brush to dry the hair starting at the top of the weft and working your way down the hair. Focusing on pushing the water down and out.

Once hair is almost dry you can use a round brush and a small amount of tension to smooth your hairand the extensions hair in the last few minute s of your blow-dry.

If curling your extensions, run the extension hair through the curling iron

once or twice to smooth the hair, before curling. This will give your extensions a more polished look, close the cuticle, and prolong the extension hair.

If you are wearing your extensions straight, we recommend running a

straight iron over your extensions to smooth and create a polished look.

When wearing your hair up in a pony or top knot, we recommend gently pulling the hair attached to your anchor bead (end bead) forward towards your face. This helps to release any tension on those end beads.

After styling the hair, we recommend using a hair oil. Apply oils from mid shaft to ends. If you have fine hair remember less is more.
